ZAGATO NEW CARS

Today, Zagato is headed by Andrea Zagato and has an ambition in the coming years to continue the great tradition of design established over the past 90 years with a series of exciting new models. The latest design to emerge from the Milanese design studios of Zagato is the Bentley GTZ, a neo-classical interpretation of the historic British Grand Tourer style.

Established in 1919 as an atelier (coachbuilder) for automobiles and planes, Zagato has put its signature on many of the most important motor cars of the last century and looks set to continue this tradition in the new millennium.

Zagato’s strengths lie in the concept of sports-style elegance, a functional design that does not bow to momentary fashions but seeks out the excitement and pleasure of driving to create an “instant classic” every time. This is the mission of a modern automobile atelier: to create timeless objects that celebrate prestigious models and brands and which, unlike mass produced vehicles, are destined to last for ever.
